Tony De Vit

Tony De Vit was one of the most influential figures in the UK hard house scene during the 1990s. Originally from Birmingham, he became known for his powerful, energetic DJ sets, technical mixing ability, and distinctive driving sound that helped define the harder edge of club music. A resident at legendary venues including Trade at Turnmills, Tony De Vit became a key figure in the underground gay club scene before gaining a much wider following across the UK and Europe. His productions, including classics such as "The Dawn" and "I Don't Care", remain highly regarded among hard dance fans, and his legacy continues to influence DJs and producers today. Tony De Vit sadly passed away in 1998 at the age of 40, but he is still remembered as a pioneer who helped shape the sound and culture of British hard house.
