“Last year’s Midsummer Ball saw the likes of Rob Tissera and Donna Birt light up the London skies as thy put the legendary gone but not forgotten Camden Palace Sound system through its paces! Now we have a new home but the good-time-vibe of the Frantic Midsummer Balls is still as strong as ever, throwing the fun back into clubland for the start of the awesome summer season! We continue…”

Feat. The Mixmag Future Heroes
Saturday 12th June 2004
The Scala (www.scala-london.co.uk)
22.00 – 06.00

The Sun may be shining and you may ask yourself why you should journey out this Saturday. Well in true Frantic fashion here are our top reasons:

1. Entertainment – In Rob Tissera & Lisa Pin-Up you have 2 of the most inter-active DJs in the world! Their passion for the music is all embracing and they will drag you into their worlds!

2. The Mixmag Future Heroes! In collaboration with the UK’s biggest selling Dance Music magazine we bring to you a room dedicated to the Future of Hard Dance!

3. Trancemission! If Hard Dance in the summer time isn’t your thing then step into the Foyer as we go all Trancey on you! Wildchild’s Reece Elliot is joined by Passion Resident Andy Bagguely as well as Twisted new boy Daegal Brain!

4. The Girls! With the stunning Lisa Pin-Up and Charlotte Birch in the Main Room, the gorgeous Donna Birt in with the Mixmag Future Heroes and new London Trance queen Alix in the Foyer we’re all set for a revolution!

5. The Boys! Don’t think we had forgotten them – The sublime Rob Tissera and Dirty DJ Shaf De Bass in the Main Arena, the pocket rocket from Goodgreef: Shan in the UP TOP bar and none other than Bristol’s Brisky inn the Trance zone!

6. Goodgreef Album Launch: The legendary club from Manchester and our friends in the north have done it again with another storming album mixed by their residents and Rob Tissera! This will be the official London launch for the album and will be available on the night – make sure you grab a copy!

7. Extra Sound: We are going a step further and adding so much more sound to the Main Room that you will be able to hear your fav tunes as you step off the tube in Kings Cross!

8. The VIP View! You may not know it but the VIP room at the Scala is open to all! It has a massive glass fronted view where you can watch the club class chaos unfold below you!

9. The Scala! North London’s new Hard Dance fortress has now played host to London’s biggest Hard Dance nights from Heat to Logic and of course Frantic! The Complex is luxury, with 3 rooms of sound, clean and sparkling toilets, friendly and efficient bar staff and a kicking sound system that was clearly designed by god!

10. Ben Stevens! The VC Prodigy is quietly working his way up to the highest echelons of Hard Dance! It is no exaggeration to say this man can mix like the devil! Every one of this last 5 sample demo packs were mixed in one take that is how tight his mixing is! Unstoppable tunes, building charisma and taking a lead role in redeveloping Hard Dance – the future is bright, and its called Stevens!
