[b]There’s no E in NYD…[/b][/color] Having entertained 20,000 hedonists on Clapham Common this summer at [b]Get Loaded in the Park[/b], the [b]Get Loaded[/b] crew have pulled out their party frocks in time for another late night tale of DJ excess at [b]Koko[/b] this coming [b]NYDay[/b]. Nursing a stinking hangover from the previous night, [b]Get Loaded[/b] will be taking over this acclaimed musical venue in their finest tradition to kick start the New Year good n’ proper on [b]Bank Holiday Sunday 1st January 2006[/b].
With no work the following day and with anti-NYe prices on the door, you’re in for some loco action at Koko as acid-house pioneers [b]X-Press 2[/b] will be unleashing their world famous 6 Decks 3 Mixers mash-up on the night. [b]Rocky, Diesel & Ashley Beedle[/b] will have you body-popping from the roof top as they put the soundsystem through its paces with an underground onslaught of bleeps, beats and blazin’ b-lines. They’ll be supported by the [b]Junior Boys Own Soundsystem[/b] (one of the founding house labels), who follow up their Get Loaded in the Park session with a special club set featuring [b]Faith stalwarts Terry Farley & Stuart Patterson[/b] and the legendary Pete Heller. Take the stairs up to the Lounge Bar and you’ll find the [b]Deepdownanddirty[/b] cartel rocking the floor. The hotly-tipped [b]Electric Press (20:20 Vision)[/b] headline the way with some Dex N Fx tomfoolery, joining fellow DD&D residents [b]Ryan Shaw[/b] – the winner of ITV’s ‘Joy of Decks’… who counts Cosmos dude Tom Middleton as one of his biggest fans - and [b]Simon Morell[/b], plus [b]Pete Herbert[/b] of Reverso 68 fame.
[color=green][b]Pre-Club Booze-athon…[/b][/color] Why wait till 10pm to get the party started as the evening’s entertainment kicks off at 6pm down the road at top boozer the [b]Lock Tavern[/b]. The Get Loaded posse will be sinking a few pre-club jars and jamming to some pre-party sounds courtesy of cult Camdenites the [b]Adventures in the Beetroot Field Residents & very Special Guests[/b]… so arrive early to revel in the full madness.
