These new structured Traktor courses from Crossfader look absolutely fantastic! It's brilliant to see such a comprehensive offering for DJs at all levels. Traktor is a powerhouse, having expert guidance like this to unlock it's potential is invaluable. The free classes on hot cues and advanced FX sound like a really smart way to give people a taste of what's possible and how Crossfader teaches. The beginner and intermediate courses sound really well thought-out, covering both the technical side and the crucial "thinking like a DJ" aspect. I especially like the emphasis on building those foundational skills first. Overall, this looks like an amazing opportunity for anyone…

AIAIAI has officially launched their TMA-2 DJ Wireless headphones. If you’re a DJ who’s been dreaming of ditching the cables without compromising performance, this might be the one. They’re calling it the first truly wireless headphone designed for DJs, which is pretty bold – but they’re backing it up with ultra-low latency wireless tech aimed at making beatmatching and mixing seamless. According to the specs, they’ve also packed in 20 hours of battery life, which sounds super solid for extended sets or gigs. MusicTech called it a "game-changer," and honestly, if the latency is as low as they say, this could actually shift things up in a big way for live performance setup…

Point Blank Music School has just launched a brand new 19,000 sq ft campus in Shoreditch. This place sounds seriously impressive. There are 13 studios in total, including two Dolby Atmos rooms kitted out with Solid State Logic Duality Delta and Origin consoles, Adam Audio S Series monitors, and Avid Pro Tools HD. Basically, they’re offering what they call “the most advanced spatial audio experience available” – so if you’re into immersive audio or engineering, this could be a game-changer. They’ve also got a dedicated DJ space developed with Pioneer DJ, which is cool to see. Seems like they’re really trying to cover all angles of modern music production and performance. T…

Even as wireless audio is now the default for everyday listening, DJ headphones are almost always the one place you’re guaranteed to find cables.
