I had the priviledge of DJing with MARCEL WOODS last weekend and have to say this man is going to go far. He is a relative new comer to the UK, he has had a recent release on Id&T (Serenity) and has just remixed the new S.H.O.K.K. track "My maddness says what i must do". He has been compared to Marco V but after seeing him play at the weekend i feel he has alot more going for him. He played so many of his productions in his set and they were all absolute class. Tech-Trance at its best.

Faced with losses and tough competition from much larger companies, Sonic Foundry has agreed to sell its desktop audio and music production product family to Sony Pictures Digital for $18 million in cash and the assumption of certain liabilities and obligations, the companies announced Friday. The deal involves a handful of Sonic Foundry products: its Acid music production software, the Vegas multitrack audio and video editing system, and the Sound Forge audio editing program. Sony will continue to sell these products after the deal closes, probably after the shareholder meeting in June. Sonic Foundry has about 190 employees, approximately 70 of whom will transf…

right, this is kind of 2 questions in one, first off, i've been having a think about it and i don't think there is enough vocal hard house/trance out there these days, or at least not original vocal hard house/trance. All the good vocals have been done to death. (btw i'm not talkin cheesy vocals here like the charty trance u get these days, but vocals along the lines of Miss Behavin - Such a Good Feeling as an example of sung vocals, or Breather - come on as an example of kind of spoken vocals) anyway, what i was thinking of doing, is starting to work with vocals a bit more, the only problem is i don't have the best voice to use in my tunes, so what i was hoping was that …

Afternoon record monkeys! I'm looking for DJs who are also promoters or are involved in club events. Do you fancy running a Saturday afternoon at Cyberdog in Leeds? You will need 4-5 DJ's of any style who are willing to play. Sadly there is no money involved but it is a great way for you to hand out flyers, sell CD's or just generally hob nob. Interested? PM me and I will give you a buzz.
