Friday March 14th - Second Contact - The Fridge - Brixton Logic presented "First Contact" at The Fridge on March 17th 2001, nearly two years ago which attracted well over 2,000 people from all over the country and was an awesome night. Got myself one of these and i must say i'm very impressed. Same quality as the CDJ1000 but quiet a bit cheaper (got mine for a nice little price too)

r u up 4 new dj's @ sinergy?yesno after the test lab on friday....i ova heard a few clubbers moaning about the same old dj's playing @ sinergy month after month. wot r ur views on this matter is it time 4 a change of dj's and/or music @ wot cub possibly b 1 of the best clubs in manchester leave comments here......or alternatively......contact jeremy @jeremy@clubsinergy.com

Make sure you've got ''Tracktor DJ Studio 2'', by Native Instruments installed on your pc. This is the best pc based mixing package i've used - it's spot on! It's got so many features on it - it's got an EQ for each channel, resonance, hi/mid/lo pass filters and plenty of other effects too, you can record your mixes .... you can also do all the effects you can on a normal turntable, including scratching! The only drawback is that you need 2 soundcards to be able to run it properly (so that you can cue the 2nd tune up while the first is playing ... as you normally would) but i'd not let this put you off ..... this is a serious piece of kit This gets a definite 9…
