Hey everyone, just wondering whether anyone can point me in the direction of a site that dishes out basic knowledge on djing and music production. as i was awful at music at skool but mainly due to people trying to put a recorder in my hand (WHY???) Anyway got my decks bout 4 months ago but did it cos of love for tunes...so baically need help with the actual music side for example stuff to do with beats and bars and all that lark... anyway look forward to the responses

the 1st mix is a bit shoddy, but then i'm mixing from minimal techno to nu nrg basically if i remember rightly - i have to mix only 6 tunes and pic 6 tunes that best represent my style - how fukin hard was it to pick 6 tunes!!!!!! i usually freeform my sets but on this occation i actually did a bit of atest run just to c if the 6 track i chose really would [censored] 2gether - soo many tunes i wanted to add but couldnt ne way the listings r as follows: 1 Brains Kan Sound System Freedom [brains Kan Sound System] 2 Karim [Don't [censored] With Me] Do Not Bend 3 Captain Tinrib & Karim I've Got Ya [Tinrib] 4 Rozzer's Dog …

we have...becomeone becomeone's first birthday party! A year ago becomeone began as a small birthday party in the basement of a boozer in Charing Cross called the Griffin. Those of you who have been to becomeone since the start know how special those parties were - intimate, sweaty and very very noisy! One year on and the legendary becomeone atmosphere is still very much present at our monthly day parties in (sub) Logic - we have been entertained over the past year by our excellent residents: miss c, Stewart Rae, Tim Davison, Flash and Shaun Rowland. And we have also danced our socks off to guests such as Steve Hill, Oliver Leighs, Daegal Brain, Marc French, Tin…

Carl Cox is playin at union tonight. I havnt really heard himplay before so dunno whether he would be worth goin to see. Havnt got that much money cos i have to save for tidy, but its only about £5 so dunno what to do! Anyone like him/not like him? Amelia didnt you go to see him in leeds?
