I dont know what it is with me today but my brain is on overdrive ... Just thought this beauty up: DJ Action Figures Collect the set ! ... Farley, Glazyby, Karim ... Tara Reynolds, Charlotte Birch, Ann Savage ... These could be worth a FORTUNE in 20/30 years time ! (£50 each ?)

Been listening to any decent streaming mixes recently? Do us all a favour and post 'em here so we can all listen (and so we don't have to bother scouring the net to find decent mixes to listen to, OK!!).... My suggestion is a techno mix by Suade (who I'm going to see tomorrow evening here in Ed), for streaming at: http://www.overloadmedia.co.uk/broadcasts/audio/suade__loops_decks_fx.m3u (open in Winamp). If techno's your thing, there's shitloads of good tracks in there, Oxia, Laurent Garnier, Marco Carola, even a bit of the Jaxx! 43 tracks in a 64-minute mix. No, this isn't about me not liking cats or dogs, it's about people that have been sending their demo's to our labels. Alot of the tunes are absolute corkers ... or at least they would be if people knew when to stop! The thing that i've been finding really annoying recently is when people ''over produce'' their tunes by adding more and more bits and pieces to it, trying to make it sound *the bollox*. What they are in fact doing is ruining a blinding tune by flooding it with too many effects, too many noises and too many after thoughts. The key to success is to keep it simple. If you're gonna insist on adding more bits to and already good tune - make them very subtle…

Well today, i couldnt stop myself from seeing a record shop and going in and purchasing wehat was to my fancy. Today, i spent £65 in London. Am well lookinh forward to spending more!!!! I was pretty but then thought its all worth it in the end! Dont you love that buzz you get when you buy records?!?!?! How much u spend a month?

Wohoo! On friday I will be the proud owner of a brand spankin new Vestax PMC05mk2!! Ultimatley I would of prefered the PMCO7, and iv been savin up for it but im gettin the 05 for a mere £200 which is a massive saving of £130 on the retail price, so I couldnt turn it down!!

Anyone else using these? or Macs for that matter. They are so much better for music production. Pro Tools 6 is awesome and I would highly recommend it.

i've recently gained two new residencys @ Damnation in Wakefield (run by the gorgeous Gilly & Beautiful Butch D) and a new night in Norwich called DV8. u know when records r 2 loose round the spindle and u put rizler round it 2 sort it out? well iv found that if u put a bit of clear nail varnish round the hole in the centre of the record, it sorts it out permanantly! but seeing most of the dj's on here r lads, i dont know whether u would have nail varnish floating about!

Am thinking about buying my first set of decks and i haven't got a clue what to go for, don't want anything too expensive incase i decide it wasn't meant to be, but at the same time don't want something crap, suggestions please
