On Corrie a minute ago, Les Battersby said, "if women were meant to drive cars he'd have given them a sense of direction." Just thought i'd share that with you cos it tickled me.

For the last 4 weeks I have been house-sitting for my parents as they've been on holiday and had 2 cats and a dog needing looknig after, as well as keepnig the house occupied. unfortunately, one cat died in the 2nd week, the other one disappeared 5 days later. the dog now has a limp cos i was a bit too playful with him and I've only recently remembered to water the plants (or not so much remembered as reminded by dead leaves everywhere). If anyone needs a house-sitter, or baby-sitter or anyone to do anything involve some vague element of responsibilty and care - you know where to come.... I just hope the dog makes it to next Friday when my parents get back…
