CTW News, Comments & Suggestions

raah!!!

Ok- i like the new site but have a few suggestions- 1- A line between the txt that u type and ur signature- it does get confusing. 2- A Reply button- Currently you have to press the reply button from the person who posted before you. 3-Option to post a new topic while u r looking for a thread- currently u have to go back to the main forum 4- Take out the autotick from the preview post box before u post. Thats it @ the moment- im not having a go btw!!!

Just found out this morning that its possible for us to install our own MSN Messenger style Instant Messenger server - this will be cool as everyone on it will be from ClubTheWorld and its kinda better than the live chat clients i've seen out there so far. Can also customise it to 'look' like CTW. Not sure if its really necessary etc... but it will be kinda cool to play with it ! plus it will be a bit more 'personal' to us.

i know your busy at the moment James but i think it would be a really good idea if we could choose a layout for our profile which is the same grey and white as microsoft applications i.e. Outlook so we can use CTW at [censored] alot easier, just an idea but i think it is a good one

I've noticed that when I put a new batch of pictures up there is a sudden surge on people browsing the gallery (i wonder why, lol) and this is partly the reason the box hangs and your browser appears to hang. The best thing to do is to not keep clicking whilst this is happening as it slows the process of us trying to sort the box out - I know this is a right pain but one day we will have a much higher performance box and so this wont always be a problem. Like anything though you get what you pay for and for the sort of box we require we're talking quite a bit of wedge. So basically if you find the site running slow best thing to do is to leave it for 10 mins or s…

No, seriously it is - as soon as the weekend is over I'm meant to switch back into (horrible) reality and actually forget about my friends and clubbing and get back into boring work mode. For the last 2 weeks I honestly haven't been able to. Its a battle I have to win and i've got to get my self control back. I cant help but sneak on the board and then spend the next hour thinking about a post and/or people on here and I just cant concentrate on my work. This is some kind of disease and I need to get rid of it asap !!! It's all good though (I suppose )

How about an interviews section?? Can't be too difficult to get hold of a DJ for a few minutes, maybe at the same time as someones reviewing a club night?? I think most of us read Wub's interview with Yousef a while back, which was quality. Just an idea.......
