Have spent most of the weekend making sure that links are entered into search engines so that when someone searches for certain 'keywords' clubtheworld is likely to come up at the top (or near the top). It takes a few days to [censored] its way through but by monday time clubtheworld should rate quite highly in most search engines.

Jesus Guys, Just on the forums alone yesterday (7th November) we had ... 307 unique visitors (unique IPs addresses) 566 MB of data transfer (half a gig!?) 15,000 page views With only 800 members on the forum and I guess 30/40 active posters this could amount to 450,000 page views a month - and thats just on the Forums! This doesnt include the gallery stats/views which I'm still working out! *eek

I get quite a few comments, PMs, SMSs and emails from people accusing CTW of looking like its just "HardHouse" - as you know this isnt the case, we have members into all sorts of genres but I must admit quite a lot of the events posted are in fact HardHouse/HardTrance because Sarah and I happen to be into those genres the most. But ... I am also personally into other genres such as Funky House and Drum n Bass and I am keen to change the look of the site slightly so it doesnt look 'too' Hardhouse-Only orientated. This is a difficult one as you "cant do everything" and to be honest most of our members are right now into HardHouse/HardTrance so I guess its kinda stup…

I know most of these posts are boring for you lot but a) I like to keep everyone informed and like your feedback and I do it so i've got a history of what I did when and why as I've got the worst memory on earth! - these posts also acts as a reminder! After MONTHS of searching I think I've finally found the product for our dynamic content needs and to make this site grow. As you know at the moment we've really only got the forums and the photo gallery but its my intention to grow the bits hanging off the main site and to also not use the forums as a dumping ground for everything. Right now only myself can edit the main pages and its a very manual process. With th…

If you go to the new 'Entrance' page/link you will see a link for "Profile Index" - within here you can easily search everyones profiles for given words in given categories. E.g. you find all profiles for members who have 'Farley' listed in their Favourite DJs question. I love this bord but is there anyway of uploading an image instead of having to link it to a URL? I have plenty of nice piccies but no way of getting them online. This was an option on the last board I used and it was really good!
