ok, using IE 6, smileys take ages to load up, but i can browse as usual using netscape (7.01) smileys load up in an instant, but on every ctw page i get "the connection was refused when attempting to connect to adclick.net (or whatever)" so netscape is giving me super fast graphics but the advert banner error explorer is giving me normal surfing, but slow smileys. any idea why? (xp pro sp1)

James - Can you extend the amount of Favourites we can store - the max is 75 at present. I know that I can zip and save the pics to my HD, but I'd quite like an online album that I can refer to if i'm not at my pc, for example. No need to rush with a reply, it's just a thought

"we" being "me", of course. any chance that someone could possibly fix the colours on this, as they are perfect on the main forums screen, but when you go into a forum, then the orange on dark-blue is really hard to read, and the topic subject lines actually disappear into the blue if you've already read them. it's just getting stupid now, people come on and post events or spam, who don't ever bother to make any other contributions to the board. and then they just go and repeat themselves and post the same details in random bollocks, with something like "hey all u mad clubberz!! is anyone going to CrapNight at CrapVenue???" or "join this competition, it's grreat!! i don't work for the company that runs it, honest!!!" have a dedicated spam forum then all the event suggestions posts from non-members can go in there, then everyone's happy - people can still check the spam forum for ideas of places to go, and promoters can still post. if you're needing someone to do …

Must admit I myself hardly touch it anymore as its too manual. Whilst designing the new events section I realised the calendar can be automatically generated in either case so I think this existing one can go ?

How can we tempt more overseas clubbers to join CTW ? This question directed to all members - UK and overseas. Basically, short of some or all of us taking a huge loan out and travelling the world for a year meeting new clubbers in clubs abroad, how can we expand our membership to overseas ? Perhaps its not really possible / wont really work, but I dont see why not and I would personally love to have more contacts abroad - even to the point where we each have trusted relationships to exchange accom / club information etc. Just thinking longer term and what some of the initial visions were. When you go into one of the music related forums, it has the link "music" at the top left - well when you click on it, it takes you to the main forums page. Maybe you should change the hyper link so when you click on "music" it will take you to the available music forums ? Just an idea...

each post normally has a number in brackets next to it telling u what u've not read.....this sometime disappears, especially if ur computer has just crashed or the sites stopped responding....ne ideas on how to fix this? mwuah

As you know there has been some confusion recently over who is a CTW DJ, who isn't and what the exact definition of one is. Its crucial we dont try to play too many of our member DJs on behalf of the site at the moment as there really are far too many to be able to keep everyone happy. If we try to play out say 100 no one will really get anywhere and due to the minimal amount of sets we get asked to play DJs would be looking at stupidly long breaks between set dates. We seem to get about 5 or so newbies posting/advertising event suggestions when they dont actually have any intention in joining our community at all. From now on any events posted by people with fewer than 10 posts will possibly be deleted. People who post an event suggestion as their 1st post will almost certainly have that post deleted !

Ok, I've mentioned this before but I really am in a position now to sort these out. Just after some of your ideas as to what should be in the generic profiles. Just a post to say hi to everyone & inform you all of what ive been doing etc On a personal note i am feeling a lot better in myself & everything is going really well. In the last few weeks or so the following people have had login problems to the site (and possibly others I dont know about) ... Raverbaby69 Mitzie Dancer Captain C^nted The issue is that they would log in and then immediately be logged out. Both Raverbaby & Mitzie had the problem for about 3 or 4 days and then it magically went away and they could login again - without changing anything. Now this morning Captain C has informed me he's having the same login problems - again, having not changed anything on his PC.
