I think this came with the mag sometime last year but I have only today taken the CD from it's packaging lol. Just listening to it and have to say it's pretty awesom. The CD is mixed by Marco V, to which, I have been listening to alot of him lately and find it all good.

One of the new DJs drafted in when Radio 1 had their re-shuffle a few months back. She has taken over thurs nights 9-11 and I strongly reccomend you check out her show (its on now). Such a wide variety of styles, just good underground music. house, techno, breaks, drum & bass. I like.

Anyone who likes their house music MUST check this track out! The original is pretty mad (not sure how to pigeonhole it, which is a good thing in my eyes) but basically a little know producer called rex the dog has remade it into a housey thing. It onlys clocks at 118bpm but my god does it rock! Its vocals and lead lines are very moving. Its an very inspirational track I LOVE IT! Release in 1 week I believe, but if anyone wants to have a wee listen PM me and I'll give you my new msn addy and I'll send it over. Have you disscovered a new up and coming dj recently that has blown your little socks of and thought wow, they are going to go far? I have recently seen Kutski a few times and he has bowled me over and also everytime I see Lucy Furr, she never fails to impress me.

I have just downloaded a Mauro Picotto mix from soulseek, and it has a tune on it that has the 'hey hey hey hey' sample from Massive attacks Unfinished Sympathy, and then in the breakdown a man speaks for a while and starts with this: 'Present has gone, fantasy becomes reality, we take the breaks off, we are thinking clearly, but, not thinking at all, and this feels right, we stop trying to control things, the warm rush of chemicals through us, we fluctuate. I am catching the breaks bug..... heard alot of it a fabric but didn't pay that much attention as was usually in the drum'n'bass room, loads of people at uni are into it but never gave it that much attention..... well finally, after going to a free party where thay played the dirtiest funkiest grimiest most-danceable-ist breaks EVER and it was SO FUCKING GOOD, I want MORE BREAKS!!! So, who can recommend me any good breaks tunes/ albums? And more importantly, what breaks nights to go to, besides fabric/ chew the fat?
