Have been buying loads of his stuff lately, all perfect examples of hard house thats not trying to be techno - rather just hardhouse with a techno influence. Stand out tracks for me Daley Adz & Calver - More drugs (deprivation) Alex Calver & Sam Townsend - Shake it (Tripoli Trax) Alex Calver - Brixton Lights/Show em/Where Am I (Subsonix)

i sware this tune sounds like something you would expect karim to produce. its gorgeous hard techno with a bassline like "karim - UNCNTRLBL.K" with the NRG style of bringing the bassline back in after the break (ie 1st the kicks then the bassline). it doesnt have one of those annouying build ups either. its got a fairly predictable acid line but it works well with the overall tune. plus its pressed on a beautiful red see-though 12" not the sort of out put i expect from dave clarke, but his proved himself time and time again to be a versatile producer

Guys, not being funny, but, there are a few Members getting a bit pissed off when posting mixes or asking for opinions on Mixes / Tunes and Genres, every other post is a post entailed with slatings / slagging off the initial post that was posted. Certain Members are getting a bit fed up of coming into the music forums as all they read is "it's sh*t / it's rubbish" and so on. I think a better way of giving your opinions would be to offer good critisism that people will take in and appreciate your views / opinions. There is no need to slate something if you don't like it. But posts just like that will, from now on, be deleted. It would be nice to read a thr…

After being impressed with Scott Bond at Seriousworld where I thought he more than held his own with Matt Hardwick, PVD and Eddie Halliwell I bought this. At first I wasn't so sure as it's much more towards the flowery end of trance rather than the driving stuff a la Tiesto, PVD etc. However, having had the time to listen to it at length I'm really impressed with it. The track selection is excellent- not a dud track on it and it's really good fairly old style mainly vocal trance but with no cheese in sight. Standout tracks: Stephen J Kroos- Phantasmz Ronski Speed- EOS (Positive Ways Mix) F. Massif- Somebody (Ferry Corsten Mix). Endre- Kallocain (R…

Okay... there are two particular tunes I want to get hold of. Only one problem, I have no fucking idea what they are called. So I have resorted to the "bodge together a vague rendition of the tunes on Fruityloops in 10 minutes" approach, in the vain hope that somebody will recognise them... Tune numero uno: a sort of minimal hard house / techno cross-over track with a very acidy bassline (which I have completely failed to do any justice to on my keyboard!) I've heard this at nearly every club night over the last few months - Serious, The Gallery, Slinky. See attached...
