Anthemic stuff. I love these tunes with symphonic strings in the breakdown. This one is a remake of Bach's Aria in G.

It's ok I guess, got this for the fact I love Gaz West's Dark By Design project, I'm not big on TDV's tunes. I must say GW done alot better, still, this has those crazy snares all over. Keeps me happy.

Such an enchanting anthem, I love the strings in the build up. Still one of my fave Tiesto anthems. Made back in the days when Tiesto was one of the most fluffy Trance djs/producers around. The flipside is that Gatecrasher Red mix. Classic.

Foo Fighters - "Everlong". This criminally under-played tune just got played on Radio One (doesn't happen very often). One of the finest songs ever written? (in the sense of traditional song-writing, not that repetitive house nonsense!) I've mentioned the tune before in other threads, and it doesn't even relate to dance music, but I thought it deserved a thread of its own. Thank you. Anyone who has the faintest interest in rock music, who doesn't know the track I'm talking about, should check it out now! It's a few years old now (from their "Colour and the Shape" album) but it still rocks big-style.

Picked up this 1st release on riot (so i believe) and have to say it is amazing! Ive not really been a fan of BK, but this is unbelievable. Nice techy number (but not too techy) hard as nails, wikid arrangements, nice percussion, and a nice hook in the break. I advise you all to check it out, if you havent already 9/10

I've been humming this tune ever since Wildchild on Friday. I was a bit minced, but I've got a reasonable recollection of what the bassline went like. Can anyone ID the tune from my 15 minute bodge-together on my computer? I think it was played by someone like Reece Elliot, in the main room. Pretty sure it was before Simon Patterson came on. seeing as a few people on here are getting into their techy hardhouse, i thought i would post a list of a few of my favourite techno/hardhouse crossover labels Hydrolix D.A.V.E. the drummers label. Powertools Ants label. most of the releases seem to have a good chunky beat too it. Bang On alot of their stuff isnt really that hardhousy but occationally somethings released that would work well. one of my most loved labels and they seem to be getting even better lately! How funky are they anyone else think they make great music?

hmmm? Got a funky house gig on sunday at rather short notice, so need to make some emergency record purchases, to boost my funky collection a bit. Cheers
