has any of you seen him live? if so what did you think? what did he play? i've been wanting to see him for years now but never got round to it have downloaded a few of his live sets tho and i have to say i love his style. crisp. minimal acid house and techno suprisingly hard some of the tunes as well (altho not in the way how most people on here think of as hard)

ive got a fair bit of there stuff now, n i was just thinking, theire not that hard really, alot of theire stuff i wouldnt even call hard house, but i also wouldnt call it trance. Im not sure if this is just because im starting to like really hard, hard house. Or if they have always been like this? it doesent bother me atall, its just a thought.

This EP is awesome! Anyone who still thinks Picotto isnt making good techno needs to have a word with themselves. This is quality, superb production, a nice hard groove, some wikid metallic sounds, and of course that Picotto stamp all over it! I will be hammering this for some time

was looking thro some psy trance CD's at a stall in camden market a while back, and the way the compilations work is that you get two CD's. One CD has the stand-alone tracks, the other CD has the tracks mixed together. So you basically get each song twice -- on it's own and in the mix. which got me thinking why don't the resonates and Tidys work like this. It would mean 4 Cd's for each album, which is all of an extra 30p for them, and 2 jewel cases. "cos it's cheaper not to"... but would be nice....if you think about it, you pay ur money, and you don't actually get "each track".

Krafty Kuts pres: Instant Party Got this free with Mixmag (I think) ages ago, a good 2 years now I would imagine. But I havent stopped playin it since. It builds right from propper old funk (not funky house) through some chunky breaks, then gets into some proper clubby breaks. It even gets a bit darker near the end. Its an overused cliche, but this mix is a serious journey from start to finish. He manages 32 tracks in the mix. Please tell me someone else has this, or at least has heard it?

Medicine8 "Junior Asprin" This totally sums up the kinda house I love, tough, filthy, raw, and completely in yer face. Most of the house fans will know it, but if you dont i advise checking it out.

No no no, nothing to do with roads i'm referring to the last record in the old Tidy 'Milked' pack...now this particular bit of vinyl causes many polite differences of opinion amongst the chaps at the Gentlemans Club...I am firmly of the opinion that M11 (Stimulant DJ's remix of Only Me by Hyperlogic) is the better tune, some of the other gents disagree though and reckon that M12 (BK remix of Black is Black by Allnighters) is better (they are, of course, wrong ). Anyone here got any preferences either way?

  25. Vacuum is 20! Vacuum's 20th release sees Ingo in his Digital Cowboy guise team up with rising talent A-Star to produce two blistering tracks of hard dance madness. “Insaneâ€ runs at a pacey tempo, taking a melodious, pulsating bassline and weaving it around tight percussion and pounding kick drums, then adding a dark, menacing riff to take the track to fever pitch. Lots of nice little samples are thrown in to spice up the track and keep things interesting, and overall the track is a rip-roaring slice of modern day hard dance music! On the flip we have “My Definitionâ€, which features a driving, low-pitched off-beat bassline, fantastic layering of samp…
