Anyone hear the Rob Tissera essential mix last night, gave it a listen today & thought it was a tad too trancey, think they should have given the essential mix slot to someone like karim or glazby, or possibly Oz? but i suppose cusz mixmag is so far up the arse of tissers, halliwell etc, it was only right to give it to a popular bloke!

although this tune has been out a while, what everyones thoughts on it. Personally i love it as it's a really nice blend of really hard techno (just like my gran used to make it). Not keen on the track being dropped in hard house sets though, that's just shite! Also is DK french??? And that's a hardware bass being used right?

I know that New Order is supposed to be the ultimate and first ever house music group, but apart from a couple of dodgy tunes from Prodigy, ie. Charlie, nothing came close to Renaissance in the early 90s. Sat at Uni monging a treat and listening to Sunscreem - Perfect Motion, that's the life...

is this a new "sub genre"? heard it mentioned a lot on flyers recently, and heard a couple of tunes that i'd describe as it. Basically HH speed/bassline/style, but with a euphoric melody over the top of it. I think i luuuurve it

this track absolutely rocks! Wasnt keen at 1st, what with it being benassi and all that. But after hearing this remix im hooked. Quality electro, filth house. I love vocoder vocals. not sure what makes me laugh the most, the cheesy tunes or the way how they've labeled themselves as 'techno' but the shameful truth of the matter is alot of their stuff is really well produced and i'm sure if they had the inclination, they could release some really credable club anthems

Bought mixmag earlier in the week, but hadnt listened to the cd. I always make sure and listen to the cds even if i dont think I will like them. usually im quite suprised and take to most of them. They may not be on constant play, but do get a listen when in the right mood etc. But I have to say this one is the biggest load of bollox ive heard yet. i was at ROARs bday party at evolution in cardiff and 3 of the djs ended their set wit same tune....im not entirely sure what is was but ive got a feelin twas Malice in Wonderland anyone noticed anything recently....
