I've been twice already and can't wait to go back for my third week in Sept for the closing parties I go back on the 19th at the moment but probably going to change it to a few days earlier and do some extra nights! Its been good this summer in that I decided to do a week for the opening, week for radio1/mid season and week for closing so get to see the whole season this year. Its not as hot at the moment as it was at the end of June, I got back early Tuesday and during the week there was usually a breeze which was nice and some cloudy days.. it also rained the one day for a short period! Tara's Ibiza review 13th-20th July 2002 13th July- Took a trip in the evening to Cafe Del Mar where we met 2 really cool guys, Stu and Michael from Manchester. To ease our way into Ibiza we decided to spend the night in the infamous West End where we ended up at a cute little dance club called “Play 2.” The music was quite good, generally commercial trance but a few dodgy funky house tunes and way too many pissed up lager lads about. There is no way I can possibly book all of us together if we are either a) flying from different airports or staying in different hotels. I'm going to be looking Friday night & Saturday morning with Cerealia for the best deal we can find for a 3 star hotel in San Antonio. We dont want to go higher than £350 and should be able to get something fairly easily for the £300 mark. Due to the fact that i got such a warm welcome on this very site, i have decided that i'm going to go for it even though i know nobody and come out to Ibiza with you all. I am soooo envious that so many of you are going to Ibiza in September. I have been going for the last six years and the place just keeps getting better and better. For any of you going for the first time, I would really encourage you to spend a little time exploring the island's nightlife and resist the temptation of staying in and around San Antonio for the whole holiday. There are some fantastic non British promoted club nights such as cocoon (techno/house) and zenith (house) at amnesia with a really really friendly cosmopolitan crowd. thought i should stick this in here too.... just got back from a week ibiza ... wow!!! at the moment im sort of depressed and really missing the place and people i met!! what a week!!! we arrived on sunday 2 of us decided to go to judgement sunday and the other 2 went of to space. they say space was great with sasha playing. judgement sunday wasnt all that good. i was reather messy that night. it was just like being in england really with the number of english people in there and so many drunks even on the way in monday was a rest day and took a look at some of the island and the place around us. tues was godskitchen back at eden and again it was …

Police Crackdowns El Cel (ex Angel's and Zulu's - opposite El Divino), due to celebrate its opening party last night, was not allowed to open by Police. Although all the staff were already in the club, many people were waiting outside and a celebration dinner had been prepared, Police were already there early in the evening to prevent the evenings festivities. Reasons unknown. Just next door in Pacha, Danny Tenaglia's one off Independance Day party pulled in the crowds. Probably the best set of pics whilst we were out there - I reckon I've got 2 of the best pics ever of Corsten & Haliwell - well chuffed with them. SUPERB NIGHT: Fecking FERRY CORSTEN for god's sake!!! I WAS IN TEARS listening to his set - 2 peeps from the US can back me up on that when they join!!!
