All, I've been out of the ex-demo/second hand gear market for a few years and I'm just wondering how much you reckon I should pay for a 2nd hand YAMAHA MOTIF ES8 ? (i'm finally fed up of my main controlloer keyboard the SY-85, and I want weighted keys/hammer action) I'm probably going to put some bids in on e-bay and just want to have a ball-park figure idea. If you have just started out producing and half way through a tune, and you don't already do this... BACK UP ALL YOUR WORK AND TUNES!! Its probably just me who doesn't do this much (I have done in the past but for some reason not this time) One of mine I was working on, I just lost half the data and sounds... my computer fucked up... Help! When I am using the sequencer or pads on the sytrus addon for FL, I place say 1 block on the grid where all the other riffs are, and the the sequencer keeps on going after the block has finished until the end of the track! How do I get it to stop at the end of the block I have placed down??? (I hope this makes sense to anyone out there). Any suggestions???

do anyone know where there is a good tutorial for using fruity loops 4? I mean a real basic one for total novices. cheers

He bought it for himself about a month ago and it IS, THE DADDY. It's got all the pro stuff on it, you can pop in floppy discs in, compse your own tunes, have lessons - there is [censored] LOADS of things you can do on it. I would LOVE to have one of these ! Lucky bastard

Does anyone use rebirth in Reason? Ive made a build in Rebirth but im having trouble importing it into Reason...Ive tried savng it as a wave file but when i play it in cool pro it sounds like hissin it dont play ...

Hard House music, jsut started producing it tonight, I;ve tried in the past and was unsucessful, and i believe its because of the samples i was using. I recently got a new sample pack, and i asked for hard house samples only, and the ideas are flowing like crazy now I'll post a clip in a new days after i;ve produced a clip im confident with, thou be easy on me, as it will be my first hard house choon \ release in my music career

Anyone here know anything about MIDI programming? I have not a clue and need somewhere to start. I'm using Acid 4 and need to control the volume of my MIDI tracks but can onmly apply envelopes to audio tracks. I know this is a super big subject but I think volume would be a good start!
