Did you know there is still a price on Henry Hill's head? Something like 3.5 million dollars...put up by the "mob".

Saw Scum over the weekend - didn't see it all (walked into a mates part way through). Really want to watch it all the way through - DVD's only a fiver from Play.com.

 

It was very uncomfortable watching, but that's the point. Really unnerving, and I'm glad borstals are no longer.

I want to watch it properly from the start because it is disturbing. I think it's an important historical reflection and things like that should never be forgotten. So much for wonderful Britain, eh? Our past is just as dark and inhumane as other places in the world. It's also important to remember that this was the end of the 70's and not the dark ages...
