24 minutes IN - WHAT A F^CKING TUNE!!!!!!!!!

I love this PsyTrance stuff - just really into the drum patterns n stuff in a big way - lots of gentle hi-hats etc and well put together

30:30 in - FOOK ME - You spin me round, right round.... LMAO - brings back the fooking memories - Dead or Alive !!!! CLASSIC REMIX

got hotdog on 19th, so probably during the week that follows (im usually up for a mix after gigs lol!)... will also give me a few ideas for the turn compo which follows a week later

Mixing was fine, as if I need to say it! A few dodgy sounding effects though -- was that live or was it part of the records? (I will get back to you with an example, there was what sounded like a ropy use of delay.)

Just a few criticisms,,,

Too many tunes with dodgy guitar samples in them -- my least favourite psy trance cliche -- sorry!

Also there are some seriously dodgy vocals in there. I've always thought of psy trance as quite serious-sounding music, so some of the cheesy vocals, and some of the dafter-sounding vocal effects, kinda put a downer on the atmosphere for me.

My main criticism is that nearly every tune has an almost identical bassline!

There were a couple of tunes I liked in particular (more hard house / hard trance really) I'll try to work out which tunes they were later.

That was me fucking around with djm600 lol... I know it aint perfect, but I like mixes to actually sound 'live' so I upload them as they were recorded rather then cheating to make it perfect etc.

As for the guitars, like I said in reply to moo's post, its not really 'purist' psytrance at all 'cos its too fullon - I do like the more progressive nature of psytrance (astral projection, wizzy noise etc) as well, but wanted this mix to appeal to those in the hard dance scene (seems to havce gone down pretty well with those folk so mission accomplished on that one I guess) - thats also the reason for the odd samples/vocals I guess...

I love it & I love the harder end of pys trance also. Kristian is an awesome Pys trance Dj who im currently into
