anyone else a slave to them??? they really have changed my life, lol metal straighteners just dont work the same way.

 

was just wondering what straightening serums you all use before you straighten your hair, ive been through so many different types, the official GHD stuff, tresseme's heat protect spray, etc etc. im currently on Lee Stafford's Poker Straight range, went out and bought the shampoo and conditioner today as i was so impressed with the heat protect spray. and its in a hot pink bottle

 

 

anyone know any good products/tips to help limit the damage to your hair???

the lee stafford stuffs ok but i tend to justput the john freida sheer blonde texture stuff in afterwards as my hairs quite thin sotends to look greasy quick if i put to much product in it

 

ghds r too hot for my hair though they r good but cldnt use em daily the ones that look like em with the heat setting r good my mate has em but havent had time to go get sum i use these remington ones which r quite good for my hair but not if ur hairs thick or unruly

well i can straighten my hair with metal straighteners but as soon as i used to step outside it'd be a big frizzy bush again!

 

when GHD's came out they changed my life. ive got the thin ones and the big thick wide ones, because my hairs really long and thick.

 

ive tried using my mates ceramic straighteners which are GHD's but because they arent as hot they dont work as well in my hair. my hair needs extreme treatment if its to stay straight!

the glass plate ones are good too if u have thick hair so ive ben told althpugh not sure if out yet as mate does market research so tryies thgings b4 on the market!

 

 

 

 

my straighteners are called thermo and i use L'oreal "hot 0 straight" cream

 

which is good!

ive tried that and i didnt really like it. you have to put it in when your hairs still wet, i like the sprays the you put on your dry hair just before you straighten it.

try the lee stafford stuff or theres a tigi poduct which is wkd cnt remember what its called though

currently im loving Lee Stafford Poker Straight Flat Iron Protection Shine Mist. specifically designed for use with straightners just before you straighten your hair. you spray it one each section of your hair just before you go over it with your straighteners. its really made a difference to my hair, its a lot softer since i started using it.

 

i even went out and bought the shampoo and conditioner today! plus they are all in hot pink bottles which is a bonus!

I've just got bog tandard remingtons, they do the job for my small amount of hair.

haha yes dom it is a bit but neccesry none the less if u didnt get advice ud waste a fortune trying shitty products like i have done in the past!!!
