Certain 'value' stuff is just as good as the more expensive stuff. I know some people who will deliberately avoid the value goods - strange.

It's all wrong. The stuff may be made in the same place but the quality control is all wrong. I don't mind buying tesco brand stuff, just not value.

never touched value stuff and never will.

 

The Finest food is excellent, but the best bargain has to be smoked salmon now that everyone thinks it gives you cancer... dirt cheap and fantastic- I bought over a kilo last time I was in...

 

Value cereals are the worst... had them once when I was a kid (think it was a coco pops rip off and they were foul).

 

Don't have a problem with anyone buying them- just not my bag.

Agreed, most of the value stuff is ok, I buy the bickies for the kids, get the long life uht milk, noodles, kitchen roll, the only thing really I avoid is the loo roll, as it can be hazzadous!! ohmy.giftongue.gif

personally i think the value noodles are foul, then again could be cos of what i'm used eating ramen noodles from the chinese supermarket which are well nice grin.gif adding sesame oil to them generall makes it more palatable though smile.gif

yeh it is lovely, great for marinading etc 0r just add a dash to flavour or season!! HHHMMMM!! It is made by Geo watkins & can be found with all the other bits like worchester sauce etc!! thumbs.gif
