This isn't about fingerprinting etc - it's going beyond that.

What this is about is having just ONE object that you carry around that acts as your communication device and your wallet. You would simply key in your pin say to this device to pay for something - which then transmits / credits the vendor etc.

You would not need cashpoints anymore and you could do all your online banking through your mobile device. This device can also act as a car / office / house key  So again, just the one device to carry - and don't worry it's totally secure.

The Japanese are already using this technology as they developed it.
