computers its a FACT

 

got windows 98 disc today from mate and did exactly as told put it in and booted from disc to spend 3 hours sitting saying fix 14000 times on the cluster thing there is 973,000 or summat of them to go through i got through 200,000 before it decides to say i cant reformat that way and too boot from hard drive and run set up which i cant find as it in config summat or other and i am stuck with crappy xp that crashes my computer

 

 

i dont know computers and so im lost and stuck and pratically in tears as i dont want to damage my pc further as xp has already fucked it up

have you tried reformatting you're hard drive???

 

mine used to crash all the time, and since i got my fella to reformat it, it hasnt crashed once. think it clears up all the shit that programs leave on your computer when you uninstall them and stuff.

no bloody wonder if you're using 98.

 

get xp, install all the updates, put 512 megs of ram in it and you're larfing.

no xp is what has fucked it up

 

ive re installed windows 98 at last the most basic and easiest to use except now i have no colour lol

XP is great, so long as your actual system can take it.. if your pc isn't that powerful then it might be worth looking into getting some cheap parts for it off ebay. What spec is your pc? x

i hate them too finally got my broadband on thursday went to install and and my dvd broken bastard thing - having a new one from work anyway when the damn things built feel cheeky rushing them though as hes doing it on the cheap for me

 

 

xp corrupted the whole of my pc it was ok till we put that on then it wouldnt boot and after that i couldnt reformat back to windows 98 happened to my dads pc too

minx pcs are worst ever lol ive had a new one now and it works great but still aint perfect

 

i want a decent screen saver now a free one lol
