F.A.O James really but for anyone to discuss if they like...

there are some REALLY old topics posts in some of these forums and i dunno what affect its havin on the server holding all this information and data that no one is looking at and probably hasnt looked at for months on end.

i only thought of this as the connection to this website is becoming really slow (and almost as slow as dial-up on a bad day im talkin about) and thinking about how old some of these topics/posts are maybe it wouldnt hurt at all if some were deleted.

when i say some i mean most really lol. i reckon anythin more than 2months old is totally out of date and nobody reads it, so i think it would benefit people who r havin probs like me viewin this much loved site im sure.

are you sure its not just your connection thats bad??? i never have any problems accessing things quickly and im on broadband.

 

although i do agree some of the v.old topics could be got rid of.

some of the old topics people dig up from time to time wen relevant or bored and only 2 months is well to soon as topics can also have an importance to some ppl

oh and domo check ur connection and pc out as im on dial up and mine is quick for dial up getting onto club the world i never have problems except wen i do too much at once maybe u have spyware or a virus slowing ur pc down or maybe jus need to defrag it so it moves things along making it quicker and also the more stuff on ur pc the slower it will be i no petes pc is full and can be so slow and he has a broadband fast connection

the site is goin fast now for me, so no bother just now

its usually in the evening that it gets slow so i dunno if its maybe just bcoz too many people are usin msn or too many ppl are on bt broadband at the one time usin the same server i dunno

 

but for the posts thing i still reckon real old stuff, i mean like in the random chat page and the FaO page some are ancient n no1 looks at em.

thers like 361 pages of random chat forum topic posts what is that about lol

yer but u said to get rid of stuff 2 months gone and a lot of stuff from last year gets dug up sometimes

also people who can only use the net now and again dig up the old topics they were involved in

 

i no cos i never used to have net and used to do it myself

& I dont think space is a prob yet

domo this board has been goin years and yer we have had to restart but ppl do sometimes value old posts lol

not saying too much but take for example the one you started about me , thankfully it was still there over 6 months later for me to print out
