its a good concept, but one thats flawed by the fact that too many people using it to upload files will limit the server resources available for the rest of the site ...and have a spiral effect on the rest of the sites' performance

use normal upload sites to share music such as file sharing programs as everyone else does like soulseek n then tell ppl who u are or put it on line and tell ppl the address where they can download

its a shame it doesn't have these sorts of features though, even though it would slow the server right down

wud help out a few ppl that didnt have space to upload tunes as well

it all costs moola ...and, other than the site owners digging into their own behinds for the reddies, itd mean sponsorships, and thus advertisments and pop - ups etc. appearing all over the place on the site, to help contribute towards funding the extra space, resources and bandwidth required to offer such a feature methinks

Also you'd get people uploading released tunes to share which is illegal and would get James/ctw into trouble.

 

Plus it's a clubbing site, not a music download centre.
