I have one in my garden

 

When I was clearing the garden weeks ago I saw there was one in the ground by 'the tree'

 

Good old me wouldn't let anyone disturb it so put a slab over with enough room to let them in & out

 

The little feckers have just attacked my dog

 

 

Dilema

 

 

Should I let them stay or get them smoked out

I got one in my walls & blocked the entrance up . the little fcuker , I dont even like honey

I must admit I like bees, wouldnt kill one. HATE wasps though, I've declared all out war against wasps. Whenever I see one I HAVE to kill it, preferably with my bare hands. Maria knows what I'm like...especially in Sainsburys.

 

I say smoke them out, evict them. When they're gone, pour boiling water in the nest to get rid of any thing else that might be in there.

See that was my views too ... wouldn't of given a second thought if it were a wasps nest ... evil nasty things

pete if u mean in a wall to the flat they can actually find ways in via getting into ur flat

it happened to a guy up our old street cos obviously its hollow where they nested they all got in his loft and he had to move out for 3 months while they smoked them out and it left a nasty white mark on outside of his place

wasps are bastards and they are pointless

 

as for bees, they r cool, i was watching them on the flower-y bush-y thing outside my front door, just doing their thing, gettin the pollen from the flower.

i remember one summer though, my nana pointed out a big dark whirl-wind looking silhouette comin down the street which then settled on my neighbours fence and they all gathered together, obviously with intentions to making a new nest there.

they had to call the council who basically knocked it off the fence into a cardboard box using the ever famous 10ft barge pole lol. well ok it was a big stick anyway.

then they took away the box once they knew they had the queen, and took it to some preserve or whatever

Yeah think i'll have to ... We used to have a house at the end of the villiage that kept bees ... his name was suprisingly Daddy B

 

But he's long gone now

 

Don't really want them killed (gezz mother nature dawn here)

 

Ever since I declared war on wasps, I've been trying to think of reasons NOT to kill them. They dont really have any use that I can think of.

 

Does anyone know any VALID reason for wasps to live?
