Not too bad really Dawn. It was the first time i'd ever ridden there and i got 2 x 5th's and a 3rd. I was very happy with it.

He was riding in the Junior 600's at Rockingham in 2002 and was in 2nd place challenging for 1st. He missed his braking point going into the chicane and had to take to the grass, he re-joined the race in 1st place, having missed out 20yards of the track. Realising he'd got first place by missing out a bit of the track he then waved the other guy back into first and continued to battle with him to regain 1st.

 

Two laps later he overtook and went into 1st, then fucked off and won the race by 30 seconds. He pulled into the pits and found out that the race secretary had disqualified him fromthe race. Guy went to see him and the secretary was really ignorant to him and carried on typing on his laptop. Guy lost his rag and slammed his helmet onto the laptop, causing it to close on the secretary's hands, no injury caused.

 

He was then reported to the A.C.U. (Autocycle Union) and they banned him from racing in England, Wales and Scotland, for life!

 

I team in Ireland then heard about this and paid for him to take his 600 over to Ireland and race in two races to see how he got on. He raced the 600 in the superbike class, 1000cc, and won both races. Then got spotted by Uel Duncan Racing and now that's where his heart lies.

Not really into as much as knowing riders and following it regularly no. But I do like to go and watch the North West TT as its just up the road from me. And its a great weekend.

That's well harsh ... will the ban really be for life ... my god, other sportsmen can do far far worse and get away with it full stop or just get a hefty fine!!

 

How unfair

And in the juniors too ... you'd of thought once he'd reached senior level it would of been revoked!

my 6 year old has really got into motorbikes cus my brother in law has a few (theres a 'few' because theres always one or 2 in the body shop),

 

im putting my foot down now & demanding that he is NOT having a bike until he is 50+ & i am no longer on this earth to see himself mangle himself

I love motorbikes theyre such a buzz i really want to learn to ride one but going to wait til im a bit older and less inclined to be a prat when im on it ;o)

My nephew has a motorbike and he loves it. Goes 28mph, and it's pretty neat, nice n'small. He loves bikes and cars and he is only 6 and knows a shit load about them . He was doing James' gears in the car yesterday and knowing when to put it into 1st gear even when the car stops at the lights etc.

That's what my sister wanted to get him, initially. As my mum and I etc, didn't like the idea of him having a motorbike, he is clearly too young .. but he is ok on it, fully equiped with a Helmet, Shin and Elbow Pads and it doesn't go more than 30. But I think next year he is having a quad and will be selling this one.

Sunday drivers .. I duno !

im the worlds worst for bitching about ppl driving to slowly i just cldnt get to grips with it, was well shamefulas pulled me on the front outside this bar full of ppl and my mates rode off n hadnt noticed i wasnt behind them lmao
