Ok, I've got long straight dark brown hair, which i am sick of, and which is also in shite condition.

I was gonna get it cut to just below my shoulders and maybe get a fringe to get rid of all the split ends round the front, but my boyfriend is very against the fringe idea.

However, I am so sick of my hair, not brave enough to go really short and I look awful with curly hair. So do you think a fringe is a big mistake???

 

(getting my hair cut on sat, so i'm getting desperate now!)

Have a consultation with the hair dresser first?

 

Or have a scan at some styles?

iv just had a fringe...............wasnt the best idea iv had, it looks ok when my hair has just been styled but the next day it goes a bit wild and can look a bit stupid if i want to tie my hair back.

can you not get layered rather than putting a drastic fringe in!!

It can't be anything too high maintenance!

Gonna get a few layers going up to y face at the front, but I've had it like this fot literally years!

GO for a long sweeping fringe, that's what i have.

this is a good point i don't mind that one. It's the short fringe that i'm not keen on.
