thats not true, any noise at any time of day from dogs barking to argueing to music is classed as a nusance when a neighbour can hear it.......i know, im in the process of getting a neighbours nusance music sorted out, & i can call the councils noise violation line at any time of the day or night!

That's 100% right what your saying Lou I should know because we had a noice abaitment served on us and we never played music between those hours!!

i went and searched the law statement online but it does state all councils act different now on a first time or now and again especially weekends police would jus politely ask u but if it happens all the time enviromental health can get involved so how was it bollux???

 

Thats proper shit! Our neighbour at my dads house used to call the police all the time on us even though the music wasnt even that loud it gets well annoying!!

 

 

its a catch 22 situaltion the law is there but if it is constant noise and i mean real noise the council have to come out and monitor it

but if someone is having a birthday party or something they advise u tell ur neighbours and the law stands for the 11 curfew on that too

nobody complained about the other couple across the road having a barbie q and party for about 30 ppl. thats what pissed me off. but i got the last laugh really when the police did come round

We have indeed (btw it's Maria, Marie is a terrible name ). I don't have time to play music anymore :'(

yer my neighbours have never complained and we all seem to keep it to a reasonable level accept me on a friday when i play it quite loud till about midnight as my mate comes over and we sit on the balcony till about then having a chat and a drink but they havnt complained against that

 

we had problems with others in the block right at the other end saying we played our music loud but it was monitored and came back nothing. think they jus dont like us on our stairs as we havnt bought our flats
