Well, what can i say?

 

Anyone who has seen or heard any of Proteus's stuff will know what this cd is about.

 

It is absolutley awesome and, for me, represents what hard dance is all about.

Everyone raved about him at summercamp, so thought to myself will deffo go see him at TW7. Went and stayed about 20mins as I thought he was pish.

 

too many spinbacks, cuts and all kinds of other crazy shit. Just doesnt appeal to me. Let the music do the talking.

If it is the case that the music does the talking, then why bother mixing tunes? Because people also come to see the DJ and the show they put on, the way they entertain the crowd. Using the music to their advantage to lift and play with the crowd's emotions. That is exactly what Proteus was doing but just in a way that was not suited to everyone's tastes.

 

It certainly worked for me, but i wouldn't like to stay in a room with his tunes for much more than about 1 hour.
