I've just got home from playing in the Movida Corona world dj competition and I've got through to the final.

 

3 out of 7 went though and one of them was me. It totally took me by surprise, nothing in my set went to plan at all.

Its got loads of stages so theres another heat next wednesday that will put 3 more through then the finals on the friday. the winner of that goes to a regional final, then national, then the world finals in moroco.

 

I'm just looking forward to playing to a friday night crowd to be honest.

Definately mate, if anything its good experience (playin under the spotlight so to speak)

Just out of curiosity, what style(s) do you play?

I play house, ranging from funkyish stuff through to more jackin' house.

 

I'm going to have to pull something out the bag on friday though and play a few surprises I think. Bullits known for having a very high standard. If you bear in mind that theres 37 heats around the uk and last year 3 got through to the final 10 in the uk final and the year before that Andy Milford from bullit won the world final in Madrid.
