just had a hooooje clear out & come across my wedding dress & veil, cant decide weather i should sell it or not i know it shouldnt (and doesnt) mean anything to me anymore as i am now divorced but there is something telling me not to do it......

 

its not worth a great deal, it only cost me £350 but i think its the sentimental side thats stopping me

Agreed. If you keep it you can always throw it out at a later date if you really don't want it. If you throw itout now, you can't always get it back if you change your mind.

I think youve answered your own question in what youve said in your post

 

It was obviously a big part of your life and we all like to have reminders of certain parts of our past.

 

 

I think you should keep it, but try and get a bit of use out of it. Wear it to the pub or to go shopping in....... I hate women that buy something and hardly wear it!

my mum kept hers and now shes also divorced.

she also said, that just in case, when philippa is older and getting married she could use the dress (although i think it will be a little out-dated even though my mum did look stunnin in her weddin photos) which is a nice thought so, use that excuse if nothing else lol
