Can any of you suckers suggest how I can download any mixes fron the R1 site without them sounding 'Tinny' ? Experts ?

 

There are a few good sets I want to down load to my MD but when I try download them they sound Tinny as feck. I've been tuned in to their Live from Magaluf all evening and it's good, and I want it, but when downloading from their site it's all 'tinny'.

But in answer to the actual question, I haven't a feckin' clue

There is no way of changing the quality im afraid Maria.

 

Radio 1 upload the mixes in a shit quality MP3, hence the tinny sound.

 

Im guessing they do it to stop people d/loading them?

Perhaps the application of techincal filtering etc. to the file (once downloaded) would be of use

 

But then again, it would be time consuiming and, overall, not worthwhile the effort

You cant download them, but u can record the mix in say, Soundforge while you listen to them. Not sure what format they are in.
