After I have been with the company for a year and am fully employed with them, if I want to take a year out and go abroad or go travelling, I am ENTITLED to that year out and I will still have my job / position when I come back. We have just had one girl who has gone to Australia for a year, and will resume her position when she comes back.

There are a few places I would LOVE to go to. But it's the travelling on your own bit I'm a bit worried about. Going back to Thailand would DEFFINTLEY be on the list.

If I did the travelling thing it wouldn't be for at least 3 years away yet. I want to get some proper hardcore experience within my job at the moment and work on getting myself over to Second Line Desktop Support in possibly Manchester then on to PC Administration. So many options I can work towards. :s I do believe my career starts right here, right now.
