I had a root filling last week which cost me about £60-70. Today, I was muching away, as yu do, on a packet of Crisps. Unknown to me my tooth must have crumbled and slid down the gullet along with my crisps. Now, I had this tooth done last bloody week, I have to go up tomorrow morning first thing to see the Dentist, should I be paying for the work that now needs to be fecking done on this tooth that was done last week, that has now half crumbled ?

 

My dentist is a good dentist, the first dentist I had when I was a kid ruined my teeth i.e fillings that needed done, which he didn't do, which caught up with me as I got older (srsly, don't come near me with a magnet).

 

I've had nothing but bad luck with dentists over the years...

 

Had a tooth removed without anaesthetic when I was about 10 years old...

 

Had to have the most painful of removable braces when I was about 15 - it clamped onto two teeth that both disintegrated (sp?) by the time I was 20. Despite only wearing it for 2 months.

 

I've had other teeth that were coated with some special coating when I was about 12 go bad - and I know 4 other people in the same position.

 

I don't go to dentists, and it seems my problems have slowed down/stopped... I know I should really go back, but I hate them...

shame about the last one. same as ur old one maria. didnt notice places that needed seeing to, which could have prevented me having a tooth out last summer.

Yikes - that's harsh Bukes ! I really HATE it when somthing is wrong with my teeth. Thanks to the shit Dentist I had when I was a kid I now have a filling in every single one of my bastarding teeth. Last time I went to the Dentist as well, they were telling me they may be going PRIVATE (apparantly this is to be the case with most Dentists now) - GREAT ! :@

 

Will be going for Dentures soon . .

I think all dentists need to be NHS... Get rid of two-tier treatment!

Well he had to take the nerve out a few weeks ago as it was proper aching is so so sensitive then had to fill it which was why I was having toothache. I don't think I should pay, as it was sinse the fill, it has bloody cracked. grr.
