I wouldn't have thought MS would be so stupid enough . . . .

apple is doing well

its a much more robust operating system

but its internet technology is not very good at all in comparison with microsoft.

Apple are doing so well that:

 

- They've scrapped their own OS to create a backwards compatible version built on Linux ideologies.

 

- They're scrapping their own processors to go Intel-PC-processor architecture.

 

- They've scrapped their one button mouse crusade by introducing a more functional mouse.

 

Apple computers are good - and excellent in specific scenarios. However, the thing that a lot of Apple users don't seem to recognise is that PCs are good as well, and they have scenarios that they excel it. Contrary to popular believe, Windows and Mac OS (X) are not the only flavours of OS available for either, and the whole platform's ability isn't down to just the choice of OS.

i like the macintosh. i didnt used to, but now i do. and sometimes i wonder why i got a pc instead of a mac because my computer at home is driving me NuTs!

If AOL and MSN do merge...they could combine the letters, re-arrange them and call themselves SALMON.
