i watched this show/documentary called The Hip Hop Years.

did anyone else see it?!

last night it was the very beggining of the genre before they even knew what it was called and when rapping was called MCing and the very start of DJing with 2 turntables and sampling and scratching and it was absolutely fantastic and uplifting

    i think its been very influential on me in some ways
