Addiction has become, quite simply, a hard dance phenomenon. Beginning as a free Thursday club night in the basement of the cult London venue The Southside Bar, never before has a promotion achieved so much in such a short space of time. Addiction has hosted some of the country's biggest DJs and producers and developed a reputation that's unparalleled across the clubbing scene. The birth of Addiction Digital, an entirely online-based MP3 record label, will further enhance Addiction's reputation as a true innovator.

Our mission is simple. The hard trance scene has become inundated with bootlegs, remixes, and covers, making original tracks harder to find. With vinyl struggling as a medium and many labels folding before their first release even hits the shelves, Addiction Digital offers an entirely new concept. We provide original hard trance tracks that the masses are crying out for, in a medium that is instantly up to date with the current record climate. Our goal is not to make money; it's to push new artists, promote the Addiction brand, and ultimately give hard dance clubbers and DJs exactly what they want: proper, original, well-rounded hard dance.

Addiction has appointed its Resident DJ Olly Perris as the label manager. With plentiful experience in the hard dance scene, Olly is an established producer who has sold over 50,000 records and appeared on a Top 40 single. He knows exactly what decent hard trance sounds like, and his aim is to give the record-buying public exactly what they want—quality hard trance. With the support of Andy T and Mike Harris, the co-founders of Addiction, who know all there is to know about successful promotion (and are successful DJs in their own right), it's fair to say that Addiction Digital is backed by people who know exactly what they're doing and how to deliver.

Our release schedule is enough to make any hard trance fan excited, but we're keeping it exclusively under wraps until the time is right. However, we can tell you that for our first release, we are giving you not one, but two massive EPs:

Addiction is also kicking things off with a FREE launch party at their exclusive new venue in Soho, ‘Freedom’. With an all-star cast of some of London’s finest Trance & Hard Dance DJs, including Trevor McLachlan (Twisted), Shaf De Bass (Logic), and Daegal Brain (Twisted, Tilt), it’s set to be one hell of a party.

This will also be your chance to hear the first releases in their full glory, as Andy T will perform an hour-long exclusive label showcase set, featuring Addiction Digital’s forthcoming releases. If you like what you hear, the tracks should be available for download after midnight.

With a track scheduled for release on the 1st of every month, and more material both signed and in the pipeline, produced and engineered by the likes of M.D.A & Spherical, Nick Rowland, Matt Williams, Olly Perris, and many more established and up-and-coming artists, the future of UK Hard Trance is looking very bright indeed.
