its a very good cd. deffo one that will be sticking around for a good while as its prefect travel music for me

 

my only critasisum tho is that it doesnt seem to progress much, by then end of it i was acheing for it to get harder

but thats more personal preference than anything else

 

the opening tune is a fukin blinder tho - set the mood for the whole cd perfectly. i find the hardest bit about doing a cd is picking the opening tune

 

as for the mixing - 25 ( i think) tracks, all aprox 2 to 3 mins long. nice long smooth mixing. its the sort of standard i've come to expect from you

 

we should do a b2b some time (and you can teach me how to mix 'real' techno rather than the sped up bollox that fits in nicely with hardhouse)

funny you say that cos i actually wanted it to be on a certain level all the way through. partly down to the tunes ive got from my old stash and trhe new ones ive bought.. its the kinda techno i love so i didnt want it to stray from the path if you get me...

 

also cos its the first techno mix ive done in years i had no idea how many tracks were gonna fit on the cd. the last thing i wanted to do would be for it to build up then have it run out of time. also you can play it again after you just listened to it without having to wait for it to build up again.

 

there certainly wasnt a lot of pre-planning went into it. some of the tracks were new-ish to me, so keeping it on one level meant i could pretty much throw any tune out of the box on and it would slot in ok. i think for the best part it flows better than i could have hoped. i would have liked another 20 mins on the end tho like you say... grand finale and all that. but fuck it.

 

i cant see me doing another one in the near future, so hope ya like this one cos i cant see me taking it up a level

Just played it m8, takes me back to 92/93ish when i was right into this kinda techno...

Im thinking it was hard work m8 takes me 2 mins to beat match a tune atm
