Come back from Egypt the day before and getting straight onto packing my house to move the week after... You never know though so watch this space. Must admit, when i joined way way back, i did so more for potential meet ups which didnt seem to really happen, or it died a death. I dont really have the time to post that much and never really did.. would be good to get general meet up at some point and id be genuinely interested before i hang up my boots before old age and sinility creeps in!

Agreed with all of the above - the old days were good! Pity we couldn't keep going with the meets-ups but I guess it makes the past times that much more special ! ⭐

I think the thing with CTW is that the majority of the people who come onto this bourd are die hards. Look at the reg dates, 98% are fairly old. Other sites rely on new members coming through all the time and replacing the old ones that move on elsewhere.

Peoples lifestyles and tastes change. I still love dance music and the dance music scene but i'm not into clubbing anymore. As it states on my sig "retired from clubbing". It just doesn't excite me anymore.

I still love coming on this site and a few of the other ones. CTW was my first clubbing forum site, and my first forum site for that matter. Sarah intorduced me to it and i was hooked instantly.

im still in london hun and have no plans on moving back up to nuneaton

my job is good, im enjoying my new life with my bf and shay and working and being in a really nice area

but i still come to nuneaton as regular as i can lol

Yeah, it's a shame we don't have the old board reg dates as that would give a true picture of how long people have been around. I remember joining up years and years ago and this place was so so busy and people were meeting up every weekend at least, if not both nights each weekend.

But as you say, people get new priorities, change their habits etc etc.. clubbing doesn't interest me that much anymore either.. i mean i will still go to weekenders probably but more for the people than the music and actual clubbing and with regards to dance music, i prefer techno, electro, breaks and house these days anyway.

I'm buying my first house atm (move in next week) and am more into rock music so will probably prefer to go to v festival and have my clubbing mates round for gatherings at the house as at least you're able to have a conversation properly and not worry about having to find somewhere to sit/worry about how hot it is etc etc.

People change, times change, people move on. I for one, am glad of that. What a bloody difference I say ! :happydance:
