This is the best mixer ever. The sound quality is unrivalled, the features are unsurpassed - especially the low frequency oscillator. The 4 band eq on four independant channels are superior, and the low, mid and high band pass filters give excellent flexibilty for creative djs, the penny + giles crossfader is smooth and not too loose, with the xone: 92 crossfader curve being more to my liking. In addition, the intelligent post eq system is excellenty implemented.

combine this and my ttx1's and you have got the ultimate setup for the real creative djs out there, i'm now only waiting for the technics cd decks for my dream home setup...

 

if you havbn't tryed this mixer yet , get your arse in gear and try it!!!

so are the eq read outs better than that of any other allen and heath.

as this is the bit i hate about them, you would have thought with a such a quality series of mixers they would have put more thought into this??????

I considered one of these but got the DJM-600 in the end...it's a lovely mixer

thats what i used before this - djm 600 - but it wasnt mine :-( - lol - ma pal gave me a lend of it lol

 

i was gonna go out and get the djm 600 - cause scratch ma last thing - it is better than that one lol

 

just ive got this one for a wee while and its doing the job quite well (but cant wait to get ma djm back)

i like the pioneer mixers, but i gotta say the quality on the eq on them is nowhere near as good as the one on my lil bog standard vestax... hate the 12 oclock eq notch too!
