going to be a PCSO as hoped :angry:

 

im really dissapointed because on my letter it says overall i got an A so my whole application was fine what i didnt get through on was dam gramma. fucking dyslexia has let me down now

 

 

im trying to find out if there is any way i can brush up on my english and try again in 6 months, as thats the waiting limit

 

so looks like im stuck as supervisor at subway for another 6 months :(

 

Thats a shame mate. Yoy'd have loved it. One of my mates has just ot in the PCSO's, in Humberside, and she's dyslexic. They let her use a laptop for her written questions.

i did the application on line but the problem they pointed out was spelling mistakes and lack of punctuation.

 

might apply for the somerset pcso's when i go

I think it all depends on whether you make them aware that you have dyslexia to start with. I know at Uni anyone with dyslexia gets stickers they put on their coursework and exams so when they are being marked they aren't marked down for spelling mistakes and gramma errors.
