just wondered if any of you have tried an IUD/coil?

 

ive just been given the mirena one and am hating it, wondered if anyone had any good or bad experiences with them cos am seriously thinking of getting it removed ASAP! any advice welcome!

ps: no stupid replies please from men trying to be funny!

i dont know anything bout coils,sorry.

i thought that was quite an old thing to have done..

have u thought bout the injection thingy?

I had it about 2 years ago and lasted 12 months.

 

never stopped bleeding the whole time, ended up having to take tablets to stop it which defeated the object really.

 

I would try the coil again but not the merina.

 

 

 

Anything that contains estrogen doesn't suit me, have tried the Depo injection aswell had the consequences as the coil.

 

 

i had the same problems as you the dawn, had a few days break in between, but sufferd pain then.

 

as for the injection, i had it when i was 18, (think it lasted 3 months) i was still doing all my sport at that time but i put on over a stone in the first 2 months, so i never had any follow up injections
