didnt know anything had happened until me mum said last nite on the phone.was at uni all day and hadnt heard the radio or tv.

I didn't know til the 7 o'clock news, walk round in my own little world! rolleyes.gif

Looks like Al-Qaeda.

They don't normally claim responsibility, they didn't put through a coded warning (ETA normally do) before hand and the bombs were placed to cause as many deaths as possible.

Why did they choose Madrid though? unsure.gif Seems strange to me, but then I'm not a psychotic terrorist! Well, only some days.

Al Qaeda have claimed responsibility, as have ETA. whoever caused it has got wot they wanted. maximum carnage. it looks more like Al Qaeda than ETA, coz ETA go 4 tourist areas where as Al Qaeda go for financial centres mad.gif

Thought ETA had denied it?

Thought ETA had denied it?

Spokesman for the banned political party linked with ETA issued a statement denying it the last time i saw the news yesterday.
