any plans to add threading to the forum? with messages stored chronologically, as they are now, things can get a little bit out of hand:

Yes Alasdair - I do intend to upgrade to UBB Threads. In fact, feck me it looks like its only gonna cost me $100 to upgrade! Thanks for reminding me Alasdair!!

 

The main reason I am wanting to upgrade is because I need the forums to be database-driven - to integrate nicely with the main site - which is all MySQL driven.

after careful consideration I am DEFINITELY upgrading to UBB Threads on the new server. I have been having problems migrating the current site anyway - not that I'm giving up but if I am wanting to upgrade either way then it makes sense to do it now whilst I'm moving everything.

 

You should also notice the forums running a lot faster as well due to the db-backend.

 

Thanks again Alasdair as it was only by chance I was looking through the 'site suggestions' section that it reminded me!
