.....wear contact lenses?

 

I am picking my tiral pair up for tommorow, and am out clubbing friday. Contact and being munted? I have never really thought about before, I assume other peeps do it....

yeh tony does at weekends when we go out, seems to be ok

i do....coloured ones (lilac).......they are ok as long as they dont dry out

take some solution with you though, because if you dont it can be a nightmare

they're usually fine hon, as long as you take them out as soon as you get home. might be a bit uncomfortable at first tho.

don't do what I did at the last weekender and leave them in all weekend, only for them to fall out in the middle of glazby's at the end of the weekend, leavin me blind and confused!

as long as they're not hard contact lenses u'll be fine. I can only have hard ones due to my prescription being so bad. When they say it feels like a brick in ur eye, they're not kidding. Gave up on them after a few months.

 

May go back and see if i can have soft ones now, technology always progresses, interesting to see if i can.

You don't need to take a huge amount of solution with you, you can get a small bottle of drops that will easily fit on your pocket.

 

Ben i wear hard contact lenses and they're fine, i don't have any problems with them when i'm out clubbing.

And if you forget to take some solution use spit (if you have any ) not tap water

 

I've had mine in for 36hours sometimes and fell sleep in them, but glasses in your car is a good idea as things tend to go alittle

 

 

Urine is better than tap water on contact lenses, at least your urine is sterile. Unlike mucky tap water, if you do use tap water though make sure its cool boiled tap water.

not a nice thought really.

 

 

Do you think clubs would boil a kettle full for us contact wearers

But would your urine be completely sterile if you have been caining chemicals??

i have a tiny bottle for my "emergency drops"........its that tiny that i can never find it when needed

i go clubbin in my soft contacts and their fine! tho u might find that your eyes will feel abit heavy, usual just due to the smoke and stuff in the clubs, just give ya contacts a good clean when u get home

As the others have said, TAKE SOME SOLUTION.

 

I had mine in for HOURS before (they were coloured contacts), didn't have any solution with me, thought I would be ok.

 

Untill I looked in the mirror (que fr funny joke) and my eyes were RED SORE.
