Three characters for TV's favourite EastEnders are set to leave the Square.

 

Smokey the Dog who amazingly plays two characters in the hit soap - Wellard and Sonia Jackson - has decided to call it a day! A spokesdog for Smokey said "Its been a tough decision for him to make but hes decided to go for pastures new, playing two characters was very difficult for him to play, Wellard was fine but playing Sonia was too much" Dean Gaffney who plays spotty oik Robbie Jackson is said to be devasted by the news, as he grew close to Smokey who played both his dog and his sister in the show! Jack Ryder who plays Jamie Mitchell is delighted as it means he will no longer have to do love scenes with Smokey, "We got on well but he just had bad breath" he said later yesterday!

 

Another character set to rock the nation is landlady favourite Sharon Mitchell. Miss Piggy has also decided to call time on her character and is said to be keen on the return to the Muppets! Kids favourite Miss Piggy was tired of playing Sharon and wants to reunite her role with Kermitt. Spokespig for Miss Piggy says "She will dearly miss the cast of Eastenders but is looking fvorward to new roles in the future" Rumours around TV World suggest that she is keen on playing Jade in a TV version of Big Brother 3 but this is unconfirmed!

 

How these characters will leave the show are being kept under wraps but are set be explosive.
