its shite news about garlands guys..i saw it on the north west news this mornin..i aint been there meself but from wot every1s told me in the past..it is/was a wicked club

Im soo sorry to hear about Garlands, from seeing the photos and hearing the reviews it was definately a place i wanted to go to!

Its [censored] - what more can be said

I and I'm sure everyone else on here is in a bit of a daze!!!

 

we are all clearly gutted that this has happened when it was such a focal point of all our lives.

 

All I can say as a means of comfort to us all is that it was clubbing that brought us together and it is clubbing that will keep us together.

 

Lets hope it doesnt take long for Garlands to get back to the amazing venue that it once was..

 

I'm sure it will be back better than ever,

I am so glad i went to SLUK's birthday. Makes it an even more special night now!

[censored]! I saw a big plume of black smoke emmitting from that area this morning,can't belive its gone.

Fuckin typical,I spend most of the last 5 years abroad and when I get back the best club Ive ever had the pleasure of frequenting goes and burns [censored] down.

what Iam I gonna do now??

wish I had enough [censored] cash to fly EVERYONE out to Ibiza tonight for the Garlands party - thats if its still on ???

yeah mate garlands ibiza and faries will still be on i reckon. i wudnt be surprised if u see garlands holding the club nite at another venue in the mean time either.

the thought of someone setting out on purpose to do that is fcukin sick in the eed.

[censored]. Don't know what to say, I've never been to Garlands, but I was going to go up on Saturday, and I know how much the place means to people.

If this was arson, why would somebody do it ?

It's big loss to the clubbing community, but we can't let it get to us. Surely the spirit of Garlands was about the people, not a building ?

I know it's difficult, but I reckon we've got to show everyone that the Garlands spirit is still alive. We've definately got to find an alternative venue/event and show that we're dedicated clubbers and that can't be taken away from us, no matter what happens ?
