Well hot on the heels of garlands burning down,now I have to deal with the bombshell that creams finally closing down.

I have to say Im pretty gutted about this,the place holds a lot of good memories for me,obviousley its gone down the shitter lately,but back in the mid nineties it was THE place to be.

Its not everyone who can boast havin probably the best nightclub in the world on their doorstep at the time,but I suppose trends change and inevitably things have to move on.

It is a shame some of you peeps won't ever get the chance to have experienced it for yourselves,it truly is/was a cultural icon,definately of its time and for this I salute the old place.

Its a bit of a weird thing to say,but I guess that the nineties is finished,if you know what I mean.

Wish id have seen it in its hay day mate but all that i saw was a shadow of what used to be a great club.

I think its gonna finish on its 10th birthday bash in october,kinda apt its come full circle really.

I only went to cream once, when we managed to blag free tickets, and we left after 3 hrs or so cos it was not our cup of T, had a better time @ my house after....wish Id been when it was good..!!
