God awful, drum laden rubbish. Maybe I've been listening to the wrong type, but it just sounds boring.

I used to be SO into it but I'm afraid its definitely dead - unless you've only just got into the music scene of course.

Prog is good. I like it, Prefer the stuff from 93-98 though, half the mixes I do feature stuff from then.

 

It does get up it's own arse sometimes though, and can be boring. It needs a special something to pull it through. Plus I can dance to it without needing drugs!

To Progressive

Progessive house is an aquired taste - personally I like it now and again - I especially like a nice Deep Dish 6 hour set - had some great 'lost in music' moments with these guys.

 

Its all about mood.

 

If you are up for it in a mad, lets go get messy night out - go funky ( or hard if thats your bag)

 

If you want a night of deep mashy introspective clubbing - go prog.

what type of prog? Prog trance, if so i hate the fuckin stuff. It was the worst peice of shite in music i've ever heard. So i'm glad it's dead as it's shite

Prog - is just a slow build up - its a set designed to go for quite a few hours rather than the usual 2 or 3 hour set dropping the odd 'classic' to get the crowd going.

 

As far as trance goes, I dont like it at all.

 

But not all of us can have taste can we
